Photos: Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol attend the inaugural ceremony of the Kolkata International Film Festival

A gala event was organized by the West Bengal government today to inaugurate the Kolkata International Film Festival. Amitabh Bachchan inaugurated the event; Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Kamal Haasan also graced the inaugural event. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol shared the stage at the event today.

Kajol looked stunning in a dark green colored saree where as Shah Rukh looked dapper in a black suit. Shah Rukh also tweeted about the event, “Too much fun and love at KIFF 2017. Love my Kolkata & as always the warmth of @MamataOfficial...U r the sweetest.”

Kajol’s last Hindi film was Dilwale with Shah Rukh Khan. However, it is rumored that Kajol may be a part of Karan Johar’s next, “Kajol is definitely part of Karan’s next venture. He had sworn to himself at the beginning of his career that she would be a part of all his films. That promise was broken in last year’s Diwali release, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. But Kajol is back in Karan’s life and in his next directorial undertaking,” a source had revealed earlier.

Kajol had revealed to us about starting  work on her home production. She had said, “And yes, I am doing a Bollywood film per say. It's my home production which hopefully I will be starting in September. I can't reveal much about it right now. I have also finished VIP 2 which is a lot of work for me. 2 films in 1 year? God, you're seeing too much of me these days. I already need a break.”
