Deepika Padukone hosted a bash at her residence as her upcoming film Padmavati received an overwhelming response from the audience and the critics, even before its release. The party was attended by who's who of Bollywood including Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Kriti Sanon to name a few.
The superstar of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan made a late night entry with his wife Gauri Khan at the party and was snapped outside DP's residence while entering and exiting it. SRK sported a handsome look wearing a white shirt with a pair of jeans while Gauri was seen in a halter neck black top with pants.

Talking about the party, a source close to DP shared with us yesterday, "Deepika is in a celebratory mood. She is extremely happy to share this moment with everyone who is close to her. Wherever she has been going off late, be it events or other gatherings, people cannot stop raving about her beauty, grace and talent."
At the 3D trailer launch of the movie, Deepika had said, "It's been a while since I have been so nervous. I can't remember the time I was so nervous. I think it is the function of the fact that in all the movies that I've done, I feel there is something (different) about this one. And it is not from the heart, it is not from the head, it is from the gut... It is coming from a completely different place."
"It has been an extremely emotional journey for all of us. Especially after we launched the trailer, I think the response and the reactions were absolutely overwhelming. I think Sanjay Sir and all of us just literally did a group hug. We couldn't get over how overwhelming that feeling was..." she added.
