Photos: Shah Rukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar clicked at an event in the city

Today, Shah Rukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar were clicked by the paparazzi at an event in the city.

Shah Rukh looked dapper in a blue tee, white jacket, and pants. He was all smiles as he got clicked by the shutterbugs. Farhan, on the other hand, looked handsome in a casual tee, denim, and white shoes. He styled his look with a headband.

The event was organised by Farhan’s MARD, a social campaign to raise awareness against rape and discrimination of women.

Recently, during an interview with a leading daily, when Farhan was asked about sexual harassment in the industry, he had said, ''I’ve heard of people talking about issues with the casting couch. But I don’t know anybody personally to whom it [harassment] has happened that I can encourage to speak up. Or the other thing, [it] hasn’t happened to me... But, whoever has something to share of this magnitude — if they’ve been taken advantage of or exploited — it’s up to them to decide whether they want to speak up or not. I can’t force anybody. But at the end of the day, if they feel it’s time, then they should without any fear.''

He further said, ''Wherever there is an industry where the power dynamic is in play -- be it corporate, be it film industry, such issues will unfortunately occur. But I think right now, the world over, the environment is such where all the women should feel empowered and secure to come out and share their stories. There is a constant dialogue on gender equality, gender discrimination across the globe. I think anyone who has their heart and mind in the right place, will support them.''

On the work front, Farhan was last seen in the movie Lucknow Central directed by Ranjit Tiwari. The film had opened to mixed reviews from the audience and the critics.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Aanand L. Rai's next which also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
