Photos: Sara Ali Khan, Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter arrive at Deepika Padukone’s party

Deepika Padukone as Padmavati has been winning praises ever since the trailer of the movie was released. The actress is in a festive mood and today she hosted a party for close friends to celebrate the response that she has garnered till now. 

Sara Ali Khan, Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter were among the star kids who attended the grand party. Sara looked gorgeous in a black floral outfit. She teamed it with beautiful earrings and light shade lipstick. She was all smiles as she got clicked by the shutterbugs.

On the work front, Sara is gearing up for her Bollywood debut. She will be seen in Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. Talking about the movie, it’s plot revolves around the Uttarakhand floods. The flood situation for the movie will be shot in Mumbai. 

A source told a leading tabloid, "The makers felt that the sequence deserves a grander canvas. So, they have decided to recreate the town of Kedarnath in Mumbai. The set will be erected by February next year. Abhishek intends to wrap up the sequence by June. This has, in turn, pushed the release." 

Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan also arrived at the party. While Jhanvi looked beautiful in a shimmery blue outfit, Ishaan looked dapper in a white checkered shirt.

Jhanvi is reportedly making her Bollywood debut opposite Ishaan Khatter in the Hindi remake of Sairat which will be produced by Karan Johar. Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, when we asked Jhanvi's mom and actress Sridevi if Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor take fashion advice from her, Sridevi revealed, "Well, I take inspiration from them. They guide me and I enjoy that. They are...Aaj ka hai (They are the new generation). They know better. They know what is in fashion. Sometimes you are in your own world. As a mother, I have other things to take. But, I enjoy asking them and we share. Sometimes, they ask me whether it looks good or not, what to change. The same way even I...we share each other's taste."

Also, Ishaan is all set to make his debut with Majid Majidi's India-set film "Beyond The Clouds’’.
