We all know that Varun Dhawan considers Salman Khan as one of his mentors and deservedly so. If reports are to be believed, the two will be collaborating for an upcoming award show.
A source told a leading daily, "Given the two have done a film with the same subject, the makers want to cash in on that. The two actors will be doing something special besides shaking a leg to their films’ chartbusters, Tan TanaTan and others."
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in Tiger Zinda Hai. The movie which also stars Katrina Kaif is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is the sequel to the 2012 hit Ek Tha Tiger which was then directed by Kabir Khan. Tiger Zinda Hai is slated to release on December 22, 2017.
Talking about Salman and Katrina, director Ali had said, "In Ek Tha Tiger, everyone loved Salman and Katrina’s chemistry, so for us, it was a challenge to push the envelope in terms of how they look and how the song is going to be. A lot of attention has been paid to bring out their chemistry, how they are styled, and the locations. They look the best they have looked together."
Varun will next be seen in October which also marks the debut of Banita Sandhu and is being helmed by Shoojit Sircar. October is slated to release on April 13, 2018.
In a recent interview, he had said, "I like different genres, and as an actor; I want to dabble in every genre. I can’t explain how different a love story October is going to be. I don’t know what genre to put this film in. As a creative person, it’s very unusual and new. And you hear stories such as this one. I am excited and thrilled about that."
