Photos: Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan at Arpita’s Diwali bash

Diwali is around the corner and our favourite celebs have already begun the festivities. Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan hosted a grand Diwali bash for her family and close friends of the industry. Brother Salman and Shah Rukh Khan were among the first celebs to arrive at the party.

While Salman looked handsome as ever in a casual tee which he teamed up with denim, Shah Rukh looked dapper in a black kurta and pyjama. Both the actors smiled and posed for the shutterbugs.

As we all know, Salman and Shah Rukh have moved past their differences and share a strong bond now. When a popular daily asked SRK about being in the news when it comes to Salman, he had said, "I think now people overreact to Karan-Arjun coming back. We have come back so often. Sometimes, I feel how many times will Karan-Arjun keep coming back? By now, even Rakhee ji would have felt bad that Karan and Arjun are coming back so many times; itna bhi nahi bulaya tha maine (I didn’t call them so many times) (laughs). I find it odd."

Furthermore, King Khan was asked about how both their families have always been supportive of each other, no matter what. To which he stated, "Yes, I have always maintained this and I always will. Salman’s family was beautiful to me when I came here. I was new. I considered Chunky Pandey’s and Salman’s family as my own and I always will. There will always be respectability towards Chunky, Salman’s and even Juhi’s respective families. I was new, so in a way they adopted me. I would stay in their houses and eat there. I could even leave my friends and my wife there; I was so confident."

The two recently shared screen space when Shah Rukh Khan agreed to do a cameo in Salman Khan-starrer Tubelight. Also, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor has decided to return the favour by shaking a leg in one of the dance numbers for Aanand L Rai's next with SRK.
