Legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar, who was admitted to a suburban hospital on the evening of August 2, after he suffered dehydration and a urinary tract infection, has finally been discharged today. We have got the pictures of wife Saira Banu taking care of husband Dilip.
In some of the pictures, Saira is also seen planting a kiss on Dilipji's cheeks. You can witness the true love that the two have for each other. The news was shared by Dilip Saab's Twitter account which read, "Saab will be discharged from Lilavati Hospital at 4pm. This is one great news. I'm on my way to the hospital. -FF."
Senior doctors from the hospital revealed that the actor has been showing signs of improvement day by day. Speaking about his health, earlier, a doctor from the hospital told a leading news agency, "Dilip Saab's health has improved as compared to yesterday. His creatinine levels have come further down, and doctors are happy with these signs." "He has eaten food on his own and that's a very good sign. He's alert and we are happy with how his health is improving," the doctor added.
Last seen on the big screen in Qila in 1998, the actor was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
Known for films like Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam and Karma, Dilip Kumar got married to Saira -- over 20 years younger to him -- in 1966.
