Riya Sen got married to beau Shivam Tewari in a hush hush ceremony in Pune on Wednesday. The couple tied the knot surrounded by close friends and family. Only 50 friends close to the couple were invited to the wedding that took place in Pune.

Riya made for a beautiful Bengali bride in a red saree. The wedding was conducted as per Bengali traditions. Parents Moon Moon Sen and Bharat Dev Varma conducted the rituals. Sister Raima Sen too donned a traditional outfit and looked pretty. Shivam Tewari wore a white Dhoti-Kurta for the wedding ceremony. Riya Sen was carried by her brothers to the mandap. In another wedding photo, sister Raima Sen and mom Moon Moon Sen can be seen adjusting Riya’s gorgeous red saree, as Shivam Tewari gushes over the bride. The wedding ceremony included traditional Bengali rituals like mala bodol and shubho drishti.

The ceremony was preceded by a traditional Haldi ceremony. Riya looked radiant as she posed for pictures with family and friends. She wore a simple yellow saree while Shivam opted for a white kurta-pajama.

On the professional front, Riya is currently working in Ekta Kapoor’s web-series Ragini MMS 2. She has acted in many Bengali and Malayalam films. Riya who is the grand-daughter of Suchitra Sen is also a part of the short-film Lonely Girl- A psychological thriller. She was last seen in Dark Chocolate which was based on the Sheena Bora murder case. She debuted in Bollywood with the film, Style.
