Ranveer Singh will be working in Zoya Akhtar's next venture 'Gully Boys'.
Ranveer Singh and director Zoya Akhtar were snapped in the city today. The two were spotted outside a studio for a meeting related to their upcoming film Gully Boys.
Ranveer has already started prepping for Gully Boys. He will be working with Alia Bhatt in the film.

Gully Boys is inspired by the lives of two rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy. Talking about Ranveer, Divine had said, "He's a cool guy and already dresses like a rapper so he needs no tips in the fashion department from me. It is one thing to get audiences to wake up and listen to our kind of music, which is not about girls, gold, and drugs but about real life in Mumbai. But it is an even greater thing when mainstream actors like Ranveer chose to be a Gully Boy. He's now a part of our movement."
While Padmavati is in a tight soup, Ranveer is moving on to Gully Boys. A source told a leading daily, "Ranveer is keen to move on. He has already committed dates to Zoya for the film, and hence can’t let everything wait. He has already been told to not do media interviews for Padmavati before the release. And after the indefinite postponement of the movie, he cannot let other films, including Gully Boys, suffer because he’s a thorough professional. The Padmavati shoot already meant that Gully Boy’s pre-production work was under stress. And this postponement will not let it be hampered further. Thankfully, everyone in the film industry — including Zoya — understands how Sanjay Leela Bhansali works. So they have given Ranveer a lot more space."
