GQ hosted Men of the Year awards in the city today and seen at the event were Bollywood A-listers. Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma made a stylish entry on the red-carpet. Ranveer Singh wore a printed shirt and a suit, whereas Anushka Sharma dazzled in a black shimmery gown. Ranveer Singh looked dapper in his look and Anushka Sharma nailed the chic look in the gown.
Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma greeted each other warmly as they made their way to the Awards show. Ranveer Singh had made his Bollywood debut with Anushka Sharma in Band Baaja Baarat. Ranveer and Anushka also worked in Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do recently.
At a recent media interaction, Anushka said about her sense of style, “I like to dress well. I enjoy wearing good clothes but I am not a slave of fashion. I think it is important to use fashion and style as an extension of your personality. For me it’s good to know about fashion trends but at the same you can’t wear something that doesn’t look good on you. So I know what works for me and what doesn’t. My fashion sense is very chic, comfortable and simple.”
On the work front, Ranveer will be seen playing the role of an antagonist in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmavati. Anushka, wrapped up her home production, Pari and will start soon start shooting for Anand L Rai’s film with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
