PHOTOS: Ranbir Kapoor snapped post his dance rehearsals for Brahmastra
Ranbir Kapoor clicked in the city.
Ranbir Kapoor will be collaborating with best friend Ayan Mukerji yet again in Brahmastra. The movie which will be produced by Karan Johar also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt and will be a trilogy. The actor is taking dance classes for the film. Today, he was spotted post his dance rehearsals.
The actor was seen leaving the dance class in his car. Ranbir sported a winter look while getting clicked by the paparazzi.
When a leading daily asked Ranbir about Brahmastra, the actor said, "Well, it’s not really a superhero film because the word superhero comes with a preconceived notion about it. The film is, as Ayan puts it, ‘a magical romantic fairy tale set in contemporary times.’ It’s got a great cast too with Alia Bhatt and Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) in the film. Other superb actors are also being cast in it. It’s a film that has been written in a trilogy format so there will be three parts, which Ayan will make over a period of eight years. It’s also very exciting, and risky at the same time because it’s something that has never been tried before."
Ranbir will be also be seen in Sanjay Dutt's biopic. During an interview, Ranbir shared his views about the film and had said, “Sanju Sir has been closely attached to the film. He has come on set and has been amazingly supportive. It used to be surreal for me because I am acting like him. He used to sit in front of the monitor and see some scenes and be so happy. He’s like an overgrown child, who gives love to people…I feel like I was born to play this part. He is the only actor whose picture is on my cupboard and to play him is surreal. Getting a physical look right is easy. To get somebody’s soul right, the human being right- that’s the hard part. I hope I’ve done a good job.''
Ranbir also added, “I’m grateful for this film and am working hard on it. I hope that people understand this man’s life, his soul through my work."
The movie stars Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza and Vicky Kaushal besides Ranbir Kapoor.
