Today, Ranbir Kapoor was clicked at the premiere of  Star Wars: The Last Jedi by the shutterbugs.

The actor looked dapper in a blue-red checkered shirt and rugged denim. He styled his look with a red cap and brown shoes. He was all smiles as he posed for the cameras.

Ayan Mukherji, Kiran Rao, and Sonali Bendre were among the other celebs who attended the special screening of the movie.

Check out the pictures:

The trailer for the movie came out a while back. In the trailer, you come to see Rey's (played by Daisy Ridley) raw strength which unnerves Luke Skywalker (played by Mark Hamill) as he says, "I've seen this raw strength only once before. It didn't scare me enough then. It does now."

We also get a glimpse of Snoke (played by Andy Serkis) torturing Rey and it is the last scene, in the trailer that gives you goosebumps as Kylo offers a hand to Rey to join the dark side. "I need someone to show me my place in all this," Rey explains.

The star-studded cast of Star Wars: The Last Jedi includes Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, and Gwendoline Christie.

Directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Lucasfilm, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is slated to release on December 15, 2017. Interestingly, a sequel to The Last Jedi tentatively titled Star Wars: Episode IX is slated to release on December 20, 2019.

On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor will be collaborating with best friend Ayan Mukerji yet again in Brahmastra. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.

When a leading daily asked Ranbir about Brahmastra, the actor had said, "Well, it’s not really a superhero film because the word superhero comes with a preconceived notion about it. The film is, as Ayan puts it, ‘a magical romantic fairy tale set in contemporary times.’ It’s got a great cast too with Alia Bhatt and Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) in the film. Other superb actors are also being cast in it. It’s a film that has been written in a trilogy format so there will be three parts, which Ayan will make over a period of eight years. It’s also very exciting, and risky at the same time because it’s something that has never been tried before."

Ranbir will be also seen in Sanjay Dutt's biopic.
