Global star Priyanka Chopra made her way to India last week to kick off the promotions of her upcoming film, The Sky Is Pink. Starring Priyanka, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Suresh Saraf, The Sky Is Pink is inspired by real people, Aditi and Niren Chaudhary who were parents to the youngest motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhary. Yesterday, Priyanka was snapped with the whole team of The Sky Is Pink including Siddharth Roy Kapur and Shonali Bose.
Today, Priyanka was snapped while promoting the film by herself in Mumbai. The gorgeous diva sure knows how to slay in every outfit she dons. In the photos, Chopra is snapped in a black floral maxi dress with a thigh-high slit and a matching neck scarf. Priyanka’s hair was neatly tied in a bun while her makeup minimalist with light pink lips to add the pop of colour. Combining her outfit with black peep-toe sandals, Priyanka looked like a million bucks as she set out to promote her comeback film.
The film’s trailer featured the story of Aditi and Niren told through the lens of their ailing teenage daughter, Aisha. Aisha suffers from a terminal illness and her parent's marriage hits the rocks due to the same. The Sky is Pink’s first song, Dil Hi Toh Hai managed to leave everyone hooked to Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra’s voice. At TIFF 2019, The Sky Is Pink received a standing ovation from everyone and Priyanka, Farhan, Rohit, Shonali and others got emotional at the festival. The Sky Is Pink is slated to release on October 11, 2019.
