Prateik Babbar and his ladylove Sanya Sagar got engaged last year and announced the same on their social media pages. Today, after a year, the couple finally tied the knot in a two-day ceremony held in Lucknow. The couple dated for about a year before deciding to get engaged and spend the rest of their lives together. Prateik is the son of actor and MP of Rajya Sabha, Raj Babbar and Sanya is the daughter of BSP leader, Pawan Sagar. The couple tied the knot as per the Maharashtrian traditions today.
After getting married in Lucknow, Prateik and Sanya rushed back to Mumbai and were snapped at the airport a while back. In the photos, Prateik was seen wearing a white T-Shirt and black jeans with a blue denim jacket. Whereas, Sanya wore a white tee and blue flared pants with a black jacket. Last year while talking about their engagement, Prateik stated to Mumbai Mirror, "Sanya and I, along with our families, decided that something as pure as love should be solemnised on an auspicious day and what better day than Basant Panchami. She’s the best partner I could have asked for. It didn’t take me long to figure out that she was the one for me. I know it sounds clichéd but I can’t stop counting my blessings and thanking God for all the good that is happening in my life."
