Photos: Newlyweds Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are one of the hottest and power couples in Bollywood. The duo got married on December 11, 2017, in Italy in presence of close friends and family members.

Virat and Anushka met the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi today. The newlyweds invited PM Narendra Modi for their wedding reception and clicked a picture as they hand him the reception invitation.

Anushka looks beautiful in a blue dress and Virat looks handsome in a blue kurta and pyjama.

Meanwhile, Virat and Anushka had taken to Twitter to officially announce their wedding and wrote, "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."

The couple will hold two receptions in India. One will be on December 21 in Delhi which will be attended by the newlyweds' close friends and relatives. Another will be held in Mumbai on December 26 which will be attended by the cricketers and Bollywood celebrities.

Amongst other guests, it is Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, filmmaker Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif and Rani Mukerji, along with Mukesh and Nita Ambani, who are expected to attend the reception in Mumbai.
