PHOTOS: Nana Patekar speaks to the media at his Mumbai residence regarding Tanushree Dutta allegations

Last month, Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss. The actress said that in 2008 when she refused to an intimate song with Nana, he along with choreographer Ganesh Acharya harassed her. She said that Nana even called some goons who attacked her vanity van on the sets when she was sitting inside. Tanushree had spoken about the incident 10 years ago, however, she got no support from anyone. But, in the wake of #MeToo movement, Tanushree received a lot of support from the people and some celebs from the film industry. Nana, who was shooting for Housefull 4 in Jaisalmer, came to Mumbai last week.

Today, the actor was asked by the media about Tanushree's allegations on him. The actor said, "I always meet you guys, I have no problem with that. But, when she has reacted, I had to do this (press conference), so will you please pardon me for that?".  He further stated, "The truth which was there 10 years back, stands true even today. What is true today will remain the truth afterwards as well." After Tanushree's allegations, she received a legal notice from Nana Patekar. The actress then filed a complaint against him and Ganesh Acharya to the Mumbai Police.

After Tanushree's allegations on Nana Patekar, several women called out names of men who were sexual offenders and have harassed them.  Among the celebrities, names like Vikas Bahl, Rajat Kapoor, Kailash Kher and Zulfi Sayed have come out. 

Director Vikas Bahl is accused of sexual harassment by one of the ex-employees of Phantom films. After the news, Phantom films' co-owners Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya issued an apology for not taking the matter into consideration.
