Photos: Madhuri Dixit makes heads turn at Marathi Filmfare Awards

Madhuri Dixit Nene today walked in style on the red carpet with husband Dr. Sriram Nene at Marathi Filmfare Awards 2017. She looked gorgeous in a  pink traditional attire, giving us some major fashion goals. The actress completed her look with beautiful earrings and bright shade lipstick. Dr Sriram Nene, on the other hand, looked dapper in a black suit.The two were all smiles as they posed for the shutterbugs on the red carpet. 

Madhuri is all set to make her acting debut in Marathi cinema but not under her home banner. When asked about the same, Madhuri had stated to a leading daily, "Marathi cinema is evolving beautifully and it makes me proud to see such incredible stories come alive on screen. I have received many scripts over the years since I was always open to acting in Marathi films. However, no script excited me as much as this one. The moment I heard the story, I knew that I wanted to be a part of it."

Talking about her role, Madhuri had said, "It is a story of every household yet it has a silver lining. It not only gives you hope and inspiration but also encourages you to live life in the true sense. The most fascinating factor for me to choose this film is that it is going to carve a niche in everyone's heart."
 
Reportedly, the film will be of a slice-of-film genre based on a woman who is on her path of self-realisation. 

Madhuri will also be producing a Marathi film which will be a family entertainer with her husband. Earlier, talking about her home production, Madhuri had said, "My movie career is far from Ram and my production house RnM. That’s my area of expertise and the decisions are made by me. His management is restricted within our production house. Dance With Madhuri is our big project together and this is where Ram takes care of the technology and I take care of the artistic side. I go to our office for a few hours as all decisions are made there."
