Photos: Lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt prep for the next schedule of Brahmastra

Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra is touted to be a supernatural romantic thriller with high octane action sequences. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are playing the lead roles in the film. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Brahmastra has been shot extensively in Bulgaria. The team wrapped up the shoot in Bulgaria a couple of months ago. The next schedule of the film will kick off in Mumbai soon. Lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were spotted at a studio in Mumbai today where they have started prepping for the next schedule. Ranbir and Alia have been training with a fitness trainer and movement coach for their role in the film.

Ranbir Kapoor has been sporting a new look for his role in the film. He looked dapper in a grey tee, blue denim and a blue checkered shirt. Alia looked pretty sans makeup in a white dress with floral print. Brahmastra is the first of the fantasy-adventure trilogy planned by Ayan Mukherji and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The film will reportedly be wrapped up by January. In this schedule, important action scenes will be shot. The film is slated to release on Independence Day next year.   

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been dating for almost a year now. The couple grew close during the recce and prep of Brahmastra. Ranbir admitted to being in a relationship with Alia in an interview earlier this year. The couple is going strong and if rumours are to be believed, wedding bells may ring soon.
