PHOTOS: Lovebirds Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha enjoy a mini vacation in Maldives on her birthday

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are happily dating each other and when they confirmed their relationship, fans went into a frenzy. They made their relationship public when Ali took Richa to the Venice International Film Festival where his movie Victoria & Abdul had the world premiere.  Richa is celebrating her birthday today with beau Ali in the Maldives. It was a surprise from Ali’s side to girlfriend Richa. The pictures of the two define love in the purest form.  

Richa only knew that Ali was taking her on a holiday but the destination was not revealed. Ali wanted to spend time with Richa away from the hustle-bustle of the city life. In an interview with us, we asked her that she once said that she would not fall in love with an actor in an interview in 2013 but what changed post meeting Ali. She told us that they give each other space and as they both are actors, they understand the demands of the profession. And at the same time, they both are from middle-class families. All these reasons have brought them very close to each other.

Richa also added that he is a great intellectual match for her and is a well-read and educated guy. According to her, they both have common interests like me - art, literature, music, and photography. 

In an earlier interview, Ali had expressed his feelings and said, "It’s our friendship, which grew over time. It’s so easy for everyone to fit us in a genre and label it love. Love is when we last, so the hope is that we arrive somewhere close to that. I just hope this is the last time I will be disclosing status on my personal life. We don’t want to jeopardize our little friendship. But am happy, I am very happy."
