Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike released yesterday and it has been winning hearts everywhere. The film is directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his banner RSVP Movies. The war film is based on the Indian Army's surgical strikes on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) as a retaliation for the Uri attack took place in the year 2016. Apart from Vicky, Uri also stars Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles.
Several of Vicky's friends from Bollywood have been lending their support to the film as well. Today, the talented actor hosted a special screening at a popular studio in Mumbai and several celebs marked their presence. Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan were snapped while making their way towards the screening. Katrina looked pretty wearing a white Lucknawi kurti and mustard yellow Patiala pants. Ranveer rocked in a white T-Shirt and black track pants with a grey zipper jacket. He teamed it up with a black cap, black sunglasses and white sneakers. Varun looked handsome in a grey sweatshirt and white chino pants with white sneakers.

Talking about the film, Uri: The Surgical Strike started on a good note at the domestic box office. The film made about Rs 8-8.25 crore nett on its opening day. The film had an occupancy report of 20-25% on the day of its release.
