Ganesh Chaturathi is one festival that is celebrated by Bollywood stars with a lot of zeal. Celebs are often spotted visiting pandals for darshan of Ganpati Bappa. Many stars bring Lord Ganesha home and celebrate the auspicious occasion with family and friends. We have already seen Sanjay Dutt and wife Manyata Dutt celebrating with Bhushan Kumar today. Salman Khan too was spotted at sister Arpita Khan’s Ganpati celebrations with Iulia Vantur.

Today, Kareena Kapoor Khan and sister Karisma Kapoor were snapped at close friend Manish Malhotra’s house. The Kapoor sisters came in for darshan. Kareena looked stunning in her black dress and denim jacket. Karisma opted for a traditional look and looked pretty in a kurta.

The Kapoors are known to celebrate this festival with a lot of enthusiasm. Each year the Kapoors host the grand Ganesh aarti at RK studios. Last year, Kareena’s uncle Rishi Kapoor got into a tiff with some media persons at the celebrations at RK studio. Kareena had then defended Rishi Kapoor and said, “I wanted to know what exactly happened. I don’t know what happened that day. There must have been something for him (Rishi Kapoor) to be upset. Otherwise, I don’t think a man of his stature would lose his cool. I think something would have happened. He is a very senior man and an intelligent person. He knows what he is doing. Obviously, something would have triggered that upset him. There were so many people and it was raining...”.

On the work front, Kareena is all set to start filming Rhea Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding with Sonam Kapoor, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhaskar.
