Photos: Karan Johar snapped at the airport; Malaika Arora clicked at an event

Today, Karan Johar was clicked at the airport, whereas Malaika Arora was clicked at an event in the city.

Karan looked dapper in a red sweatshirt and black jeans. He completed his look with black shades and casual shoes. He was seen posing for the shutterbugs.

Karan just announced his next production venture, Dhadak. The movie features Shahid Kapoor’s  brother Ishaan Khatter and Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles. 

Talking about the film as well as Ishaan and Janhvi, Karan said to a leading daily, "At Dharma (Productions), we believe very strongly in promoting new talent. A host of first time filmmakers, technicians and actors have begun their journey in the entertainment industry from the corridors of our company. I am exhilarated and proud to present two sparkling new energies and new acting talents- Janhvi and Ishaan- that will begin their cinema story with us. Also, I am very honoured to collaborate with Zee studios on this ambitious adaptation of the hugely successful and celebrated Marathi film Sairat."

Dhadak is slated to release on July 6, 2018.

Malaika Arora was also clicked at an event. She looked amazingly beautiful in a black jacket and trousers. She tied her hair in a ponytail and styled her look with high heels and red lipstick. 

Malaika Arora and ex-husband Arbaaz Khan were granted divorce by mutual consent in May this year.

After the divorce, Malaika had said in an interview to a leading daily, “Arbaaz is a part of my family, the father of my child. Certain equations don't change overnight. The things that happened should remain between us. It's personal. We don't have to prove anything to anybody. [Meeting Arbaaz] makes my son happy, and that makes me happy. Come on! For Amu [sister Amrita Arora Ladak], he's like a brother, and he is a son to my parents. What happened is between us.''
