Today, Kangana Ranaut and Rekha attended an awards event in Mumbai. Rekha received an award from the Kangana and both shook a leg on a Marathi song as well.

Kangana Ranaut is currently on a promotional spree of her upcoming film, Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi. Amidst that, she is completing her other professional commitments as well. Moreover, it's a known fact that Kangana loves wearing sarees and she has even taken airport look to another level by draping a saree. Today, the talented star attended an awards event where she presented an award to the legendary actor Rekha. For the event, Kangana donned a beautiful saree which was gifted to her by Rekha herself.
She wore a black saree with golden stripes and a thick border with a matching blouse. She teamed it up with black bangles, choker necklace and tied her hair in a bun with a gajra around it. Whereas Rekha wore a golden saree with a matching blouse and a statement jewellery set. She also tied her hair in a bun with gajra around it. Both the actors hugged each other and shook a leg together on stage.

At the event, Rekha was all praises for Kangana. She said that Kangana is one person she loves and adores the most. Rekha added, "If I had a daughter she would have been like Kangana." She called her a real-life Jhansi Ki Rani too.

Meanwhile, talking about Manikarnika, the film also marks the directorial debut of Kangana. The period film is set to hit the screens on January 25, 2019.
