Photos: Kangana Ranaut looks stylish as she promotes Simran

Kangana Ranaut is in the midst of promoting her next, Hansal Mehta’s Simran. Kangana was spotted at a city hotel where she attended an event to promote her film. She plays the role of Praful Patel, an NRI Gujarati who suffers from kleptomania.

About the film’s plot and her inputs, Kangana had told a leading daily, “Nobody can take away from the fact that if Simran today is a story of a divorced woman, it's entirely introduced by me. If the film has feminist undercurrents, I included that. The father-daughter track, the lover's track in the film -- these are subplots that I added.”

Kangana has also been in the news as she claimed the writing credits for the film. The film’s writer Apurva Asrani had alleged that Kangana took the credit without actually writing the script. Simran is all set to release on 15th September.

Kangana was the talk of the town recently for her explosive interviews against Hrithik Roshan. Kangana had said, “He (Hrithik Roshan) and his father claimed they would expose me and shock the world, but they couldn’t prove anything. He (Hrithik) slapped a notice saying, ‘She caused great harm to my reputation because she called me a ‘silly ex.’ I am the silly ex.’ But, he couldn’t prove it. So, he changed his stance and said, ‘She’s right, she had an affair, but that wasn’t me, it was an imposter.’ But, he couldn’t prove that also.”
