Photos: Kangana Ranaut and Varun Dhawan attend a city event

Kangana Ranaut and Varun Dhawan were clicked by the shutterbugs as they attended a summit in the city today. Kangana and Varun were special guests and interacted with the invited audience.

Kangana’s film Simran, released at the cinemas today and has been loved by the audience. Critics have lauded her for her portrayal of Praful Patel. Kangana attended the event wearing a strapless grey printed gown and looked stunning. Kangana was seen having animated conversations with Vivek Oberoi and Shekhar Kapur at the event.

Kangana has been in the news for her explosive revelations on a talk-show about her personal life. Kangana slammed Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan for their alleged negative PR campaign against her. She also revealed private details of her alleged relationship with Hrithik.

Varun Dhawan looked dapper as he also attended the same event as a guest speaker. Varun has a film, Judwaa 2 up for release at the end of this month. Varun will be seen in with Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in the film directed by David Dhawan.

About the film and his double role, Varun had said in an interview to a website, “I am trying to be myself, and Judwaa 2 is a great opportunity because for the first time, I am playing a double role. Playing a double role for any actor is difficult, and I am just going to put my head down and try to create two characters which are entertaining that people care for. Raja and Prem are going to be two fresh characters.”
