Photos: Kalank actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt snapped in Mumbai
Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were snapped in Mumbai today. Varun was clicked at the airport and Alia was snapped outside the studio.
Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt made their Bollywood debut together with Karan Johar's Student of The Year (2012). The film also marked Sidharth Malhotra's debut in Bollywood. After SOTY, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt worked together in two more films - Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).
Varun and Alia have now come together to work for Abhishek Varman's Kalank. Last week, Varun and Alia along with Aditya Roy Kapur were shooting for the film in Hyderabad. While Alia Bhatt returned earlier, Varun Dhawan came back to Mumbai today. The October actor looked handsome in an all black ensemble at the airport. He even posed for the shutterbugs.
Alia Bhatt was also snapped in the city with her Gully Boy director Zoya Akhtar outside a dubbing studio. Alia will be seen alongside Ranveer Singh in the film.

Talking about Kalank, along with Varun, Alia and Aditya, the film is a period drama which also stars Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Madhuri Dixit will be seen as a courtesan in the film. It will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and will hit the screens on April 19, 2019. Kriti Sanon also has a special appearance for a dance number in the film.
On the other hand, in Gully Boy, Ranveer Singh will be playing the role of a rapper. The film also stars Kalki Koechlin in a pivotal role. It will hit the screens on February 14, 2019.
