Kajol attended an event yesterday which was the 100th birth anniversary of her grandfather. She was accompanied by her young son Yug Devgn. Both mother-son duo were seen walking hand-in-hand while entering the venue.

Kajol looked beautiful in a blue, striped saree which she teamed with a grey V neck blouse. A gold choker and hair in a ponytail rounded her look out.

Also snapped at the event was Kajol's sister Tanishaa Mukerji and their cousin Ayan Mukerji. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and his wife Sunita Gowariker also marked their presence.

Kajol will next be seen in Pradeep Sarkar's directorial which is an adaptation of Anand Gandhi's Gujarati play, Beta Kaagdo. She will be playing a single parent as the story revolves around a mother-son relationship.

Talking in detail about the movie, Pradeep earlier said to a leading tabloid, "I was offered the script around four months ago. It took me a while to understand the Gujarati tone but eventually, I fell in love with this extremely emotional story which boasts of some really strong characters and there's a chance of people getting really close to them."

He added, "I am getting involved in the dialogue and character-building as there are a few insights that I want to incorporate to make the film more endearing. This is not like Parineeta, where everything was detailed, this is more free-flowing, a character and music driven film."
