Late filmmaker Yash Johar’s wife Hiroo Johar celebrates her 76th birthday today in the city and elated son Karan Johar took to his social media handle to wish her. Karan posted a picture with his mom and captioned the image as, “ Happy Birthday to the big love of my life!! Happy birthday mama!!! Love you do much”.

Karan threw a small birthday bash for his mom only for close friends and family. Even though the celebrations were kept low key, many celebrities like Jaya Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore and Salma Khan were snapped at the venue. A night before as well, actress Rani Mukerji along with husband Aditya Chopra were spotted outside Karan’s house who had also come to visit Hiroo on her special day.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar will be releasing his film Kalank next month which apparently is a dream project of his father Yash Johar. Karan has shared this news with his fans in a heartwarming post on Instagram in which he shared  a glimpse from the film and thanked everybody for making it happen. Karan Johar is also very close to his mom. Time and again on his celebrity talk show Koffee with Karan, he's seen chatting about his mom and manages to pick her references between his conversations. Once he was also seen cutely attending his mom's call amidst shooting and turned the phone on loud speaker and made others also say hi to her.
