PHOTOS: Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor return to the bay after a spiritual New Year’s getaway
Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor chose a spiritual getaway for ringing in New Year by seeking blessings at the Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh. Now, they are back to Mumbai and were clicked at the airport.

Bollywood celebrities are welcoming 2019 in their own ways. Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor chose a spiritual getaway for ringing in New Year by seeking blessings at the Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh. After visiting the temple, they visited their cousin Avishek Karthik, Sridevi's nephew. Now, they are back to Mumbai and were clicked at the airport. Both Khushi and Janhvi wore traditional outfits while Boney kept it casual. Janhvi, even before her Bollywood debut Dhadak, went to the same temple for seeking blessings.
Before her Bollywood debut, Janhvi lost her mother Sridevi. In a recent interview with Filmfare, Janhvi was asked has she able to process her mother’s death. On this, Janhvi said she is still in the state of shock and she doesn’t remember anything of those four months. Janhvi is surely a splitting image of mother Sridevi and has made her place in the industry, courtesy her performance in Dhadak.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor has kickstarted the work on her next film which is Gunjan Saxena biopic. The movie is based on Indian Air Force’s first female combat pilot, Gunjan, who took part in the Kargil War in 1999.
She will also be seen in Karan Johar’s Takht. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, and Bhumi Pednekar. Asked about becoming a part of Karan's upcoming magnum opus, Janhvi, in a statement, said, “What can I say? I am still in shock. It hasn't sunk in yet. It's a big deal for me and I am so eternally grateful and feel so blessed that Karan (Johar) has allowed me to be part of this journey.”
