The much-awaited song Zingaat from the Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer Dhadak is out today. It is the Hindi version of the Marathi film Sairat's song Zingaat.

The much-anticipated song was launched by Janhvi and Ishaan themselves today. Ishaan wore a blue kurta and paired it with grey pants, while Janhvi dazzled in a white lehenga. What caught our eyes was, both the actors sported quirky slippers with the word 'Zingaat' printed on them.

After launching the song, the duo also performed on the same, and their performance set the stage on fire. Both of them looked quite energetic and excited.

The original Zingaat from the Marathi film Sairat released in 2016, and it instantly became a huge hit. It has the lyrics and music of a typical dance number, and even after 2 years of its release, it still makes its way to every function and festival.

The famous duo Ajay-Atul had composed the songs for Sairat, and they are the music composers of Dhadak as well. The Hindi Zingaat is crooned by Ajay-Atul themselves.

Talking about the original song, Ajay said that they knew Zingaat would become popular in Maharashtra because of its tempo, rhythm and catchy words. Also, the lyrics don’t have any double meaning. But what surprised them was that they never thought that it would become so popular all over India, as well as across the world and that they never expected it to be played at clubs in New York or on cruise ships in Singapore. He said that the response was overwhelming.

Dhadak is the adaptation of the Marathi film Sairat. But unlike Sairat, which was set in Maharashtra, Dhadak is set in Rajasthan. The film is currently in the promotional phase and is all set to hit the theatres on July 20, 2018.
