PHOTOS: Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter snapped outside Shahid Kapoor’s house

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are back in the city after completing the first schedule of their debut film Dhadak in Rajasthan. Today, the duo was clicked outside Shahid Kapoor’s house post-dinner.

Janhvi looked super-stylish in an off-shoulder top and rugged denim. Ishaan, on the other hand, looked dapper in a checkered shirt and brown trousers.

Recently, Ishaan Khatter was named the Best Actor for his debut film Beyond The Clouds at the International Bosphorus Film Festival in Turkey. The actor dedicated the accolade to his mother and actress Neelima Azeem and Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi.

"This is an absolute honour. My mother is here in the audience - Everything I earn from my work will always, first and foremost, be dedicated to you. Thank you for giving me the gift of life and art. Firstly (for this piece of work) the award goes out to Majid Majidi - the masterful, wonderful, absolute legend of a man.. who trusted me and gave me this film as my first leading performance," Ishaan had said after receiving the award.

Talking about Dhadak, the film is the official remake of Marathi hit film Sairat and is directed by Shashank Khaitan. Janhvi is paired opposite Ishaan Khatter and the movie is slated to release on July 6, 2018.
 
In an interview with a leading agency, Shashank earlier said, "The basic premise is of differences in caste, honour killing and what it means to survive in that world and I feel that is the conflict that is alive all across India, you will hear stories like that. So in that sense, the basic premise (of Dhadak and Sairat) is same. But there are variations. My story is based on another set up… It is (set) in Rajasthan. It comes with its own challenges, conflicts and style of a love story."
