Photos: Janhvi Kapoor and dad Boney Kapoor snapped in the city

Janhvi and her dad Boney Kapoor were snapped by the paparazzi. They didn’t pose for the shutterbugs. Janhvi was seen busy with her cellphone at the backseat of the car while father Boney was seen engrossed in his thoughts. Recently, the Kapoor sisters had a gala time at their cousin Sonam Kapoor’s wedding. Both the sisters looked ravishing at all the weddings ceremonies. They were seen in Indian traditional outfits and totally slayed the same. As per latest reports, Boney and daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor will head to Cannes Film Festival as late actor Sridevi will receive a special salute for her contribution in cinema and the family will attend the do on 16 May, 2018.

When asked about how he feels on the global recognition that is being bestowed on Sridevi, Boney Kapoor told Hindustan Times, “I’m happy that people from the world over are recognising her body of work and her contribution to cinema. Even though the overwhelming emptiness of losing her remains, it’s comforting to know that she lives on through her work.”  

Boney Kapoor is also planning a movie or a documentary on late actor Sridevi. He has registered several titles like Sri, Sridevi, Sridevi Ma’am.  Boney had told Mid-Day, “I have registered three titles, but I cannot categorically reveal what they are. It’s too premature to talk about it. There are plans to make a film, but I can’t tell you whether it will be a biopic or documentary. I don’t see the need to rush into anything. Whenever there is any further development, everyone will come to know about it.”

On the work front, Janhvi will soon mark her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Dhadak. She will be seen opposite another debutante Ishaan Khatter. The movie is being helmed by Shashank Khaitan and co-produced by Dharam productions and Zee studios.
