On the work front, Jacqueline is all set to star opposite Salman Khan in Remo D'Souza's Race 3. This will her second film opposite the superstar after Kick (2014).

Talking about her Race 3 co-star Salman, she had said, "Salman is someone who sits on scenes, ideas and even when we are shooting, he will be like, ‘Why don’t you say this line?’ There’s so much give and take. The fact is that people like Salman or Akshay are still there where they are, only because of their passion. The new lot is passionate and enthusiastic. But everyone’s new, it’s been a couple of years. Those guys have maintained their stardom for the past 20 years and more. That’s a true test of time."

Talking about her role in the movie, she had said, "It's a very different role. I am really excited to play my character because it's actually a role that sees me in very different light. I am finding the role quite challenging to do.’’

Currently, Sonakshi is riding high on the success of her latest film Ittefaq. The suspense thriller also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna in the lead and has impressed the audience as well as the critics. The film is directed by debutant Abhay Chopra and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, DharmaProductions and B.R. Films.

The talented actor will next be seen in Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns. Talking about the film, she stated, "I am so happy playing a Punjabi girl in the film. You know my father is a Bihari and my mother is a Sindhi, but I am Punjabi in my head... So, playing a Punjabi on screen is so much fun."
