On the work front, Jacqueline is currently shooting for Race 3 along with Salman Khan. This is her second film with Salman after Kick (2014).
On being quizzed about the working style of her Race 3 co-star Salman, she had replied, "Salman is someone who sits on scenes, ideas and even when we are shooting, he will be like, ‘Why don’t you say this line?’ There’s so much give and take. The fact is that people like Salman or Akshay are still there where they are, only because of their passion. The new lot is passionate and enthusiastic. But everyone’s new, it’s been a couple of years. Those guys have maintained their stardom for the past 20 years and more. That’s a true test of time."
On the other hand, Aditi Rao Hydari will be seen in Padmavati. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. Aditi plays a vital role as Alauddin Khilji's (played by Ranveer) wife in the film. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film has landed in many controversies. The release date of Padmavati is also postponed and the new date is yet to be announced.
Talking about the controversies surrounding the film, Aditi had tweeted, "Why aren't people as angry and demanding change when women are raped, violated, sold, beaten, pimped, killed in the womb. I don't get it. I love my country, but I don't understand it anymore."
