Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement on June 10, 2019, and today, he is hosting a party in Mumbai for the same. Along with wife Hazel, many celebrities, cricketers and other close friends are in attendance and it looks like a star-studded affair to say the least. Yuvraj is one of India's most loved cricketers and with his retirement, has come to an end a whole era of the game he has shown before the world.

Today, in attendance at the party are the likes of Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar, Zaheer Khan with wife Sagarika Ghate, Sania Mirza, Kunal Khemu, Karan Kundrra with Anusha, Irfan Pathan with wife, Shikhar Dhawan, and many others who are close to the no ex-cricketer. While fans might get sad since this party is only a reminder of how we will not see the actor take on World cricket officially, but it is also comforting to have known how he has fought through and made a mark in the iconic win of World Cup 2011.

As he retired, he recalled his journey and said, "I am extremely lucky to play 400+ games for India, I for one, would have not imagined doing this when I started my career as a cricketer. Through this journey, some matches that remain etched in my memory were the 2002 NatWest final, my first test hundred in Lahore in 2004, the 2007 ODI series in England, six sixes at the 2007 T20 World Cup, that match when we realised to have not gone beyond at 2007 50-over World Cup and then the most memorable was 2011 World Cup finals."
