Even after being divorced, Bollywood's estranged couple Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan were spotted outside a restaurant in the city, post lunch today. The two were accompanied by Malaika's sister Amrita Arora.
Despite being divorced, the ex-couple are quite cordial with each other and often meet-up for lunch, dinner, or parties. Sometimes they meet with their son Arhaan as well as both their families.
Malaika looked chic in a simple light pink halter neck gown and Arbaaz was wearing an olive colour T-shirt and blue denim. Their fans also gathered to click selfies with these celebrities.
Although they aren't together anymore, Malaika is still the producer of Arbaaz's directorial film Dabangg 3. A source revealed to Pinkvilla, "While Malaika and Arbaaz may have split up personally, on the professional front, the status quo has remained the same. Dabangg and Dabangg 2 had Malaika as a co-producer and now that Arbaaz will be going on floors with Dabanng 3, Malaika will again co-produce it, along with Arbaaz. Their divorce won’t affect her co-producer status. It was an amicable one which came through in May this year. Interestingly, Arbaaz will remain on board as the only producer as he won’t direct Dabangg 3 this time. Salman stated recently they will shortlist a good director as Arbaaz’s replacement soon."
The source added, "Both are close are often seen at family get-togethers and celebrations, including Christmas and birthdays and are great parents to their 13-year-old son Arhaan. They celebrated his birthday together this year. As Arbaaz is very close to Malaika’s parents, Joyce and Anil Arora so are Malaika to his sister Arpita and the family. She went for Arpita’s son’s first birthday to Maldives earlier this year. And last week Arbaaz was seen enjoying a quiet lunch with her family, including Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora and her husband Shakeel. So Malaika being a part of the Khan family and co-producing Dabangg 3 is just a natural extension of everything. She had danced to the item songs Pandeyji Seeti in Dabangg 2 and Munni Badnaam Hui in Dabangg and may even do one more in Dabangg 3."
