Deepika Padukone was clicked in Mumbai a while back. The dimpled beauty was seen in a casual cool look wearing a black T-Shirt and blue high-waisted jeans with a pair of white sneakers. She left her beautiful long hair loose open and carried a black tote bag. The stunning actor was snapped while making her way towards a popular restaurant in the city. She was all smiles while getting clicked by the shutterbugs present there.
On the work front, Deepika has kickstarted the shoot of her upcoming film titled Chhapaak which is a biopic based on the life and times of acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. The film is being helmed by Meghna Gulzar and also stars Vikrant Massey as the male lead. With this film, Deepika will also be making her debut as a film producer and she shared her excitement about the same last year.

In other news, Deepika has been appointed as the Chairperson of the 21st MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. Talking about the same, Deepika told Mumbai Mirror, "It's an absolute honour and a huge responsibility. I believe in MAMI's vision & we are committed to creating a community that cinema lovers & creators of a film-passionate nation like ours truly deserve." Deepika replaced Kiran Rao as the Chairperson of MAMI.
