Deepika Padukone catches up with friends and family in Bangalore
After wrapping up the shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmavati, Deepika Padukone has been spending time with her family. The actor recently went on a vacation to London with her family and is now in her home-city Bangalore spending quality time with friends and family. Deepika was clicked at a comedy club event with her friends and sister Anisha Padukone in Bangalore. Deepika can be seen having a gala time at the event. She was later photographed at a famous restaurant catching up with friends over dinner.
Deepika is enjoying dome downtime before she begins promoting her next film. After Padmavati, Deepika will commence shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's next which is touted to be a biopic on Sapna Didi and also stars Irrfan Khan.
About Padmavati, Deepika had told a leading daily, “Padmavati will be extremely difficult and I am ready for that experience and journey.”
The actress has been working hard for her role as a regal queen. “It’s been such a fabulous and creative experience. For 30 days we were continuously shooting at night. We were at it all the time. Yet the schedule felt like a breeze. It has a lot to do with the director Sanjayji, my co-stars (Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor) and of course the crew. We’re all energised to make this film and give it our best. I believe we’ll be ready to release it even before we know it,” Deepika has earlier said.
