PHOTOS: Deepika Padukone dons a denim dungaree as she jets off to New York for MET Gala 2019

The MET Gala 2019 is happening in New York on May 6, 2019, and we will see some of the most popular celebrities grace the annual fundraising event. We reported earlier in the evening that Deepika Padukone will be heading to New York tonight and the actress was spotted at the airport. Deepika has pulled off some of the most elegant looks at MET Gala and with this year's theme being Camp: Notes on fashion, we are eager to see her at the event.

Deepika pulled off a chic look at the airport and just like so many of her looks, we loved this one equally as much. She pulled off a denim dungaree and coupled it with pink heels which we think was a smart twist to the all denim outfit. She also put on sunglasses in blue and carried a black handbag. She tied her hair into a ponytail and was all smiles while the paps clicked her pictures at the airport.

On the work front, Deepika has been busy shooting for her upcoming film with Vikrant Massey, Chhapaak. Pictures of both of them from their shoot in New Delhi have been doing the rounds on the internet and the first look of Deepika has Malti received a lot of love and appreciation from everyone. The film will hit the theatres on January 10, 2020 and fans are waiting!
