Photos: As Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli honeymoon in Rome, her family returns to the city

Anushka Sharma tied the knot with Virat Kohli in a low-key ceremony in Italy two days ago. The couple is currently honeymooning in Rome.

Anushka and Virat announced their nuptials on social media, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."

The couple left for Rome yesterday and will be honeymooning there for a short period of time. The couple went around Tuscany after their wedding day with friends and then took off for Rome for their honeymoon. Even as the couple continue their wedding celebrations, Anushka’s family returned to the city and were clicked at the airport. Clicked at the airport were Anushka’s parents and brother Karnesh Sharma.

Anushka’s parents will be preparing for her reception in Mumbai. The family has already started sending out invitation cards to Anushka’s friends in Bollywood. A source had earlier revealed to a daily, “The star dad has made calls to some building folks, inviting them for the wedding that is slated for next week. As everyone cannot travel to Italy, he was keen to make them aware of the developments and seek blessings for the couple.”

Anushka’s family will be hosting a reception in Mumbai on 26^th December and Virat will be hosting a reception for his extended family in Delhi on 21^st December.
