The wedding was attended by only family and a few close friends. Today, Virushka hosted a reception in Delhi for their family and relatives.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will host another reception in Mumbai on December 26, 2017, which will be attended by the cricketers and Bollywood celebrities.
Amongst other guests, it is Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, filmmaker Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif and Rani Mukerji, along with Mukesh and Nita Ambani, who are expected to attend the reception in Mumbai.
Virat and Anushka posted on Twitter to officially announce their wedding and wrote, "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well-wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."
