Angelina supported the Time’s Up campaign at BAFTA. The members of the Time’s UP campaign had earlier reached out to BAFTA guests urging them “to wear black to the awards ceremony, to follow suit from our sisters who attended the golden globes.”
“Wearing black is a strong, unifying and simple statement – a physical and visual representation of our solidarity with people across all industries who have experienced sexual harassment and abuse or have been held back due to an imbalance in power. It is also the easiest colour for the majority to wear and feel comfortable in,” the statement read.
At the Golden Globes this year too, Angelina sported a black gown and supported the Time’s Up movement. Following her split with Brad Pitt, Angelina has been focusing on her kids. A source had told a magazine, “She isn’t dating anyone and won’t be for a very long time. She is focused on her children and their needs.”
After their split, she had said, It's been difficult. I don't enjoy being single. It's not something I wanted. There's nothing nice about it. It's just hard. I can't pretend this isn't a tough time in my life. But I'm trying to get through it by just moving forward and knowing it's part of being human. Maybe sometimes it appears I am pulling it all together, but really, in fact, I am just trying to get through my days. I will eventually balance more and do more work, but because of family issues it's been extremely tough."
