PHOTOS: Amitabh Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan spotted at the airport as they head to Ritu Nanda's funeral

Daughter of actor-director Raj Kapoor and his wife, Krishna, Ritu Nanda passed away this morning. The 71-year-old was suffering from Cancer and she left for her heavenly abode today on January 14. Randhir Kapoor has confirmed the news of her demise while Neetu Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni have shared the same on their respective Instagram handles. Ritu Nanda's last rites are to performed at 1.30 pm at Lodhi Road cremation ground in Delhi. 

Amitabh Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have recently left for the funeral. Just a while ago, they were spotted at the private airport as they headed for Ritu Nanda's last rites. Amitabh Bachchan was seen in a brown jacket. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a white suit and churidar. Amitabh Bachchan and daughter in law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were spotted at the Kalina airport as the actors left for Delhi in order to attend Shweta Bachchan's mother in law, Ritu Nanda's funeral.

Ritu Nanda was an insurance advisor. She was the Chief Executive Officer of Ritu Nanda Insurance Services. Ritu Nanda was also the recipient of the Brand and the Best Insurance Advisor of the Decade awards from the Life Insurance Corporation of India, the largest life insurance company in India. She holds a Guinness World Record for selling 17,000 pension policies in a single day. Ritu Nanda was married to Rajan Nanda. She has two children, Nikhil Nanda and Natasha Nanda.
