Photos: Alia Bhatt heads to Hyderabad to join Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur for Kalank shoot
Alia Bhatt was snapped at the Mumbai airport while she was on her way to Hyderabad to shoot for Kalank. Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur are already in the city.

Alia Bhatt is a busy actress with a lot of films in her kitty. She has been shooting for Brahmastra and Kalank simultaneously. From April this year, Alia Bhatt started shooting for Kalank, which is a period drama. The film is being helmed by Abhishek Varman and also stars Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles.
Last week, Alia, Varun and Aditya headed to Hyderabad to shoot for the film. However, the Raazi actress returned to Mumbai on Sunday morning to attend the Star Screen Awards 2018 which was held last night. Alia Bhatt won the Best Actress award for her performance in Raazi. Today, the Udta Punjab star was spotted at the Mumbai airport on her way back to Hyderabad to join the shoot of Kalank. She waved out to the cameras.

Kalank is being produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and it will hit the screens on April 19, 2019.
On the other hand, Brahmastra is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji and also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. The film is scheduled for Christmas 2019 release. However, Alia's first release of 2019 will be Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy in which she stars alongside Ranveer Singh. Gully Boy is all set the to release on February 14, 2019.
Alia and Aditya will work together in Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2 which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead roles. The actress is also one of the leads of Karan Johar's Kalank which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
