Photos: Alia Bhatt catches up with Gully Boy director Zoya Akhtar in Mumbai
Today, Alia Bhatt and Zoya Akhtar were papped in Mumbai. The actor-director duo is all set to work for the first time in Gully Boy which also stars Ranveer Singh as the main lead.

Today, a lot of Bollywood celebrities were clicked while going out and about in Mumbai. Alia Bhatt and her Gully Boy director Zoya Akhtar were snapped by the paparazzi in the city a while back. The actor-director duo has collaborated for the first time in a project which also stars newly married Ranveer Singh in the lead role. In the photos, Alia was seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue tights. She carried a red bag and paired it up with black sneakers. Alia rounded her look by tying her hair in a high ponytail.
On the other hand, Zoya was seen in a black full sleeved top with a layered black and green skirt. She teamed it up with a green bag and a pair of black chappals. Meanwhile, talking about Gully Boy, the film is based on the lives of Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy, who are street rappers from Mumbai. The film is slated to release on February 14, 2019.

After the release of Gully Boy, Alia will be seen in Abhishek Varman's Kalank which is a multistarrer period film. The movie has a kickass star cast which includes Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. Kalank is slated to release on April 19, 2019.
Soon after that, Alia will star in Ayan Mukerji's upcoming directorial Brahmastra opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The film will now release on Christmas 2019.
