Photos: Alia Bhatt and Sridevi slay in gorgeous gowns on the red carpet of a popular awards show

A popular awards show have been organized in the city today and it saw all the top stars of B-Town in attendance. The star-studded evening saw Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and many others.

Alia Bhatt and Sridevi also attended the event and looked stunning. Alia looked elegant in a chic red gown. Alia posed for photos on the red-carpet and wowed us with her fabulous choice of outfit.

Timeless beauty Sridevi chose a classic magenta number for this outing. Her fashionable entry on the red-carpet definitely made heads turn. She teamed her gown with an exquisite choker.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt has started prepping for her upcoming film with Ranveer Singh, Gully Boy. About the film Alia had said, “Ranveer is a complete crackpot. I have worked with him in ads, and I think I have an idea about what shooting is going to be like. I’m excited because Gully Boy is an emotional story, and our characters are very interesting, so it will be a unique combination. I have always wanted to work with Zoya (Akhtar), who I think is absolutely fab.”

Sridevi, on the other hand is all set to reunite with her English Vinglish director, Gauri Shinde. A source shared with a leading daily, “Sridevi indicated that a collaboration is in the offing when the film completed five years last month. She shared a picture of Gauri and her, and wrote, ‘Coming Soon’. They were supposed to come together for a woman centric light-hearted comedy earlier, but the story was not fully developed. So, they shifted their focus to the sequel.”
