Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt were clicked outside director Mahesh Bhatt's office today. Both Alia and Sanjay met Bhatt to discuss Sadak 2.
Alia even posed and smiled for the cameras before.
Both Sanjay and Alia were clicked separately as they left Mahesh Bhatt's office.
Talking about Sadak 2, Mahesh Bhatt had told a leading tabloid, "Sanjay who was 32 when we made the original, comes back as a 54-year-old Ravi into the 21st-century world that is collapsing in front of his eyes, where the distinction between the house and the ‘sadak’ is fast disappearing. The story has the emotional connect of the films I made back in the’90s which brought a lump to the throats of the viewer. I could see that in the reaction of those present at the narration. They were visibly moved."
Pooja Bhatt, who worked in Sadak said that Sadak 2 is going to be about Sanjay from start to end. She had said, "While my character is unique, it is going to be about Sanju from the first frame to the last. It’s my father’s ode to him."
According to a leading daily, joining Sanjay and Pooja will be rumoured lovebirds Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt who will play a young couple in the movie.
A source revealed to a leading tabloid, "Earlier, there were speculations that Sidharth and Alia are doing Mohit Suri's next directorial project, Aashiqui 3, but the film has been put on hold. Instead, Vishesh Films has cast them for Sadak 2. While the film's director is yet to be finalised, they want to finish the casting process so that the film can go on floors soon."
