PHOTOS: Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha head to Indore for the shoot of Kalank

Karan Johar’s upcoming project, Kalank has been in the news since quite some time now. While Karan has always expressed how the film is extremely special to him, the actors too, have not stayed away from appreciating how it is a film that will be great and in fact, is going to be a big film in their careers. The shooting for Kalank has been going on and off, and while it was only recently that Alia Bhatt shot at Kargil, looks like she’s back to shoot along with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha.

Earlier in the day yesterday, Aditya was snapped at the airport leaving for Indore, and he looked his casual self in a jeans and t-shirt. Later in the night, the leading ladies, Alia Bhatt and Sonakshi Sinha were spotted at the airport too, as the duo left for Indore to shoot the next schedule. Sonakshi was dressed in an all black outfit and looks like that is what she chooses to wear these days, while Alia wore a casual dress and layered it up with a jacket.

Talking about Kalank, Karan Johar was quoted as telling a leading daily, “Kalank has been an emotional journey for me. A germ of an idea that I had nearly 15 years ago; a film that was in pre-production stage helmed by my father. I am now proud to pass it on to the capable and visionary hands of our director, Abhishek. The film is a beautifully structured story by Shibani Bathija, and has an exceptionally fluid narrative and screenplay by Abhishek.”

Kalank is slated for a release on April 19, 2018.
