Photos Alert: Sonakshi Sinha and Gauri Khan arrive in style at Deepika Padukone’s party

Today, Sonakshi Sinha and Gauri Khan were clicked by the paparazzi at Deepika Padukone’s house. Deepika hosted a grand party for close friends to celebrate the response that she has garnered till now for her upcoming release, Padmavati.

Sonakshi looked uber-stylish in a black outfit.She was all smiles as she got clicked by the shutterbugs. Gauri too looked gorgeous in a black attire.

On the work front, Sonakshi’s latest outing Ittefaq hit the screens on 3rd November 2017. The movie is jointly produced by Gauri's husband and actor Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. 

Directed by Abhay Chopra, Ittefaq also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles. Ittefaq is based on the 1969 Yash Chopra thriller of the same name which then starred Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Madan Puri as the leads. The new film has only one song Ittefaq Se, which is a recreation of the song Raat Baaki. Ittefaq opened on a low note of 10-15%.

On the other hand, Gauri recently hosted  Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday in Alibaug and the party was attended by his family and many friends from the industry. 

Earlier, during an interview with a leading daily, when SRK was asked about how Gauri has stood by him in these 25 years, he spoke very candidly about her. 
He had said, "Moving to Mumbai was a radical change for us. Not only for her, for me too. Not for any other reason but because we were uprooted from the city that we were born and brought up in and suddenly put into a new world — that was so different from anything real. I think Gauri and I, both, dealt with it. There were days where I would be explaining to her things that I didn’t understand.''
