Photos Alert: Ranveer Singh spotted post his gym session

Today, Ranveer Singh was spotted post his gym session and he was his jovial self - waved to the paparazzi and posed for them. He was seen in a military coloured sweatshirt and grey denim. He teamed up his look with a hat, high-ankle shoes, and shades. 

Also, a fan presented a throwback picture of him with Deepika, he instantly grabbed it and held it close to his heart. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer has his plate full. He is currently shooting for Padmavati which is being helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. The magnum opus will see Ranveer play the main antagonist Alauddin Khilji. Without a single dialogue in the trailer, Ranveer has managed to impress all his fans and the viewers. 

Speaking about his role in Padmavati, Ranveer told a publication, "It was a very difficult character to play. I am a people pleaser, admittedly. I like to spread cheer and laughter. I like to keep the atmosphere light – even if it means making stupid jokes and acting silly and crass. But, when I became Alauddin Khilji for the movie, there’s no trace of that person. Some actors are that way, where the external starts to affect the internal. At some point during filming, everybody realized that at one point in the morning you’ll have Ranveer and the rest of the day will be Khilji. My whole energy changed. Which is good, because at least I know I’m doing an honest job in the film. But, yeah, I’m almost done now and I have to say what I told myself holds true to some extent. All the darkness has been lived out, it’s been addressed. It’s almost like therapy."

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions, Padmavati is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
 
Ranveer will also be seen playing a street rapper in Gully Boys. The movie which is being helmed by Zoya Akhtar also stars Alia Bhatt and will be the first time Ranveer and Alia are paired opposite each other. Ranveer will also be collaborating for the first time with Rohit Shetty. The movie is a remake of the Telugu 2015 hit movie Temper which starred N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Kajal Aggarwal.
